There is no ‘I’ in the Equation team!

At Equation we have developed a team framework that ensures you receive 100% individual commitment to the task in hand.  Unlike most other recruitment partners, we have divided the elements of the process into a highly collaborative and engaging customer process.  These areas consist of Recruitment Consultant, Business Development and Candidate Management.  

Business Development works hard to promote the Equation brand and our core values and services in an open, honest and friendly manner.  Our Business Development teams’ main goal is to engage the business community at the sharp end of our business, and forge strong and close relationships to understand companys’ individual situation and recruitment requirements.

Recruitment Consultants only work on live vacancies and marketing skilled candidates into the employment channel. They act as key points within the recruitment process of permanent and interim staff.  We have taken away the business development element of a Consultants daily workload to ensure that their focus is on resourcing the right candidates for the right role, and not have to worry about sales development and targets in this area.  Our Consultants are focused 100% on candidate and vacancy fulfilment, and each individual is fully trained by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) ensuring that all legislative requirements are adhered to, so we can represent customers in the most efficient manner.

Candidate Managers’ role is to competency interview and screen all generalist enquiries into Equation Recruitment.  They process all required administration onto our market leading recruitment databases, and liaise closely with all associates seeking work via Equation.  This role within our business ensures that we maintain candidate customer relationships, and are better able to service our candidates and achieve/exceed their expectations.

Career history includes a blend of white collar chemistry and blue collar ingredients from a variety of sectors.  Recruitment indoctrinated since the early noughties gives Jason an in-depth and intimate understanding of the local market place.  

Jason is professional enough to represent a situation correctly and adds a well known and unique sense of humour.  It is never a dull moment around Jason.

Career history includes working for major PLC brand organisations and the chamber of commerce in a variety of white collar roles.  A creative and dynamic personality that has an innate ability to face and overcome the greatest of challenges.  Kelly has a varied career background that includes creative, PR and marketing that infuse the artistic and scientific side of her recruitment ability.  A resourceful and innovative recruiter that has worked within recruitment oriented positions since the mid noughties and thrives on the satisfaction of finding and placing the most difficult piece of the recruitment jigsaw.

Nathalie Dyson-Coope MIRP CertRP – Business Development Consultant

Career history encompasses working in the Human Resources, Training, Recruitment, Cancer Management and London City banking sectors. Nathalie has been recruitment indoctrinated since the early noughties.

Nathalie is a Business Development Consultant, mum and also runs a part time cake baking/decorating business.  An effective plate spinning multitasker that has the ability to fit a full time job into part time hours (we are still unsure how she manages this), Nathalie has a consistent positive disposition and revels in open communication and resolution.  A true people person that genuinely empathises with customers.  A sparky and confident individual that will under promise and always over deliver.

A Business Development Consultant that understands from an operational perspective the problems that a HR Professional and nominated recruiter encounters on a day to day basis.  An empathic individual that adopts the pull method to her conversations and enjoys resolving recruitment issues.

Sarah Perkins – Candidate Manager

Sarah is our resident counsel who has owned three successful businesses, built up from scratch, and a career history that encompasses many white collar duties.  Sarah is empathic, caring and considerate, backed with an astute ability to meet, greet and guide candidates into the Equation methodology and systems.  Sarah will liaise with our candidate customers to ensure that we retain a close relationship throughout the recruitment lifecycle and beyond, whilst seamlessly administering the office.

Sarah is a natural people person who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service and naturally upholds the Equation core values of ethics, fairness and open conversations.  With Sarah you will be treated as an individual, and have the appropriate amount of time spent understanding your needs and wants and will ensure the Recruitment Consultants are acting in your best interests.

Glynis Lowdon - Candidate Manager / Accounts

 

Glynis forms part of the team dedicated to supporting candidates that utilise the Equation Recruitment service.  All too often recruitment partners forget you once you have enrolled and Glynis ensures that we do not. 

 

 A methodical and dedicated person that rounds up our temporary associate's timesheets meticulously enters pay detailing and processes to get our associates weekly pay right, on time and in their banks!

Karen Gauley - Assistant Consultant 

 

Karen the Consultant team to ensure that all live vacancies are resourced and advertised.  Karen rigorously pre-screens, qualifies and works with the team to submit only those individuals that fit the companies’ requirements and their own personal needs/wants.


Karen ensures that the Consultancy team remains balanced and we talk to the right people about the right opportunity.  With Karen we are able to deliver an even higher level of Consultancy care to both candidate and customers.

Cassia Smith - Assistant Consultant  

Cassia has a career history of Business Development and Client Management working within the publishing and water industry, spanning over 8 years.  Cassia has in depth experience in open communication and revels in resolution at all levels as a client manager right through to individual candidates needs.  A genuinely honest and straightforward person who can understand clients and candidates needs and aspirations.  Cassia is the person that will stay in touch and update you throughout the working relationship.  Cassia will meet you to discuss your needs and is always available to assist and guide the Equation clientele.  With a bubbly and cheery persona that will ensure your experience with Equation is a smiley and successful one.

Daniel Reeves – IT Consultant

Daniel is an Equation Business Partner and looks after all of our IT systems.  He is a dedicated and professional individual that we can count on to get things done!

A trained, competent and self professed IT geek, who has the ability to take a logical problem and apply creative rules to it.  We think this comes from many years’ working as a musician travelling the world developing his creative brain before he took the plunge into commercial IT infrastructure resolution and fulfilment.
