Due to continued strong growth in the last 12 months, our client is looking for a new member to add to their sales team to handle all the fresh leads that are being generated and expand marketing activities.

The position would involve selling the range of agricultural software and hardware on-farm, travelling to farm businesses across the UK, as well as providing post-sales support and responding to customer queries about our products, from the headquarters in Oxfordshire. Attendance at some Shows and other events would also be required.

There is the opportunity for the candidate to specialise in software sales and be responsible for generating leads, providing group presentations to farmers and building relationships with large animal type vets across the country.

Key attributes that our ideal candidate needs to have:
• Be enthusiastic, energetic and computer literate with a pleasant and patient phone manner.
• Be self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
• Be very presentable, preferably with past experience in presenting and demonstrating concepts.
• Previous sales experience within the IT industry is desired. Ideally with experience in new business development and building client relationships.
• Experience within the agricultural industry or farming background would be ideal but not essential
