Job description:
My client is an FMCG Manufacturing plant based in Brackley, Northamptonshire and due to internal promotion is now seeking to recruit an Ancillary Technician/Support Engineer to join their strong team framework.
The role is to ensure Ancillary area and equipment is run in a safe and efficient manner meeting agreed legal requirements and local specifications. Support Engineering and OEE targets by carrying out planned maintenance, timely repair of breakdowns, continuous improvement activities, including identifying problem areas then engineering out the cause.
You will ensure that equipment is performing effectively and all legal and local requirements are met. Repair modules and dolav’s, reduce downtime, being proactive on ways to improve machines or processes, carry out preventative maintenance to ensure machinery is in a good state of repair.
It is essential that you:
• Have knowledge of Ancillary equipment, food production line/machines
• Possess a basic level of literacy/writing and PC skills
• Have a technical background and have obtained a minimum level 3 qualification within maintenance/mechanical
• Have excellent welding and fabrication ability
If you are self motivated, have a good eye for details, are well organised and possess a strong technical aptitude with a current forklift licence then my client is seeking you. This department operates on a 4 on 4 off basis through a range of early, day and late shifts to ensure the manufacturing operation performs seamlessly.
