- My client is growing and they seek a Production Operative to join their team. Working in the Calibration lab, you will be responsible for the production of specialised items, used for life saving purposes.
If you enjoy all things technical, making things work or electronic assembly then this role could be for you.
You will be responsible for the assembly of fixed and portable products to a very high standard, which will be sent to customers all over the world. You will be expected to solder circuit boards and will be allocated to your own cell with all equipment to hand. You will work alone and as part of a team and must be willing to do both.
Main duties and responsibilities:
-To fulfil your day to day responsibility of manufacturing targets
-Ensure all tools and equipment is working and calibrated
-Calibrating units for production and service
-Attend weekly team meetings to highlight stock shortages, health and safety and quality issues
-Maintain a standard of quality and continuous improvement throughout the department
You will have previous experience in electronics or assembly. If you have an NVQ Level 2 in manufacturing or engineering this would also be beneficial.
This is a temporary to permanent vacancy, working hours are Monday - Friday 8am-4pm.
