Bicester recruitment agency Equation Recruitment has attained Audited status with the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).
The agency based in Sheep Street was assessed against the requirements of the Employment Agencies Act, the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 (and amendments) and the REC’s Code of Professional Practice.
This Audit scheme run by the REC, the representative organisation for the UK’s £24.6 billion private recruitment industry of which Executive Futures is a Corporate Member, is the most comprehensive audit of its kind providing an official endorsement that any recruitment agency which achieves it is conducting its business both ethically and in accordance with the above requirements.
Established in 2005, Equation Recruitment specialises in the placement of permanent and temporary staff in all sectors, industrial, hospitality and commercial. The agency has 8 members of staff headed by two Directors, Jason Norman and Kelly Durrant.
Commenting on achieving Audited status, Kelly Durrant said: “We are delighted to have achieved Accredited Status with the REC, we are now 1 of only 9 agencies in the South East to have reached this level! The team at Equation have worked hard to ensure our procedures meet the high level of customer service we promise to both our candidates and clients. Times have not been easy for independent local businesses, however, by offering not only an exceptional recruitment service, we are constantly being called on to deliver bespoke consultancy to our clients, offering advice and guidance throughout the recruitment process”.
Kevin Green, the REC’s Chief Executive, said: “Congratulations to Equation Recruitment for achieving Audited status which shows they are performing to the highest standards of good practice to which all our members continuously strive.”
