Do you have experience supervising, leading or managing a team of Warehouse Operatives?
Are you a good motivator, with a track record in problem solving?
Salary: £35,000 Per annum
Employment type: Full-time, permanent
Working days/ hours: 45 hours per week. Shifts will vary depending on the company's needs, as the business runs an around the clock operation.
Responsibilities:
*Ensuring the smooth, efficient, and timely management and movement of stock entering and leaving the warehouse
*Overseeing a team of individuals, ensuring that everyone is meeting targets, ensuring the highest possible standards of customer service
*Always making sure that warehouse operations are in line with Health and safety regulations
*Keeping an eye out for any operational failures, investigating them and introducing preventative measures to avoid the same issues occurring in future
*Enforcing existing cost saving exercises, as well as inventing and implementing new ways to reduce costs
*Take part in and hold team briefings and meetings
*Working as part of a strong team, taking your colleagues ideas on board to improve the overall standards of the business and functionality
*Setting clear goals and objectives for your team
*Rewarding and praising staff members when objectives are met
