Due to expansion within their business, our independent financial advisory client based in a beautiful village location are now seeking to recruit a graduate Financial Administrator/Trainee Planner.

It is essential that you drive/own a car due to the location and have a business/related degree.

This is a small, independent and well-respected financial planning firm that offers a very personable service to their clients. The company is not a high-risk stock exchange chase-based company; instead they spend a lot of time truly understanding their customers motivations and comfortability for related financial products to play the long game and achieve the desired results.

This is a very customer focussed role, initially working as an administrator to manage/coordinate the administrative elements of the process, with a view to undertaking study towards your financial planning certification.

Administrator/Trainee Planner Job Role Description

*Liaising with clients to obtain personal banking information, NI numbers, addresses, policy details and accurately confirming changes of address, all of which in accordance with policy and governing body legislation.
*Booking meetings and follow up appointments and running all diary and schedules through activity managers and diarising future dates
*Sending pre-meeting information, letters, maps and welcome packs
*Sending follow up letters and requesting ongoing information
*Dealing with providers to obtain: Quotations, illustrations, transfer values, sending LOA's and plan encashment and surrenders
*Completing compliance requirements and Anti Money Laundering checks for all clients
*Running Management information reports, dealing with weekly cash reports and running all bulk service reports
*Updating database with new client information and updating existing client details
*Submitting new business online Obtaining quotes
*Liaising with accountants and solicitors for mutual clients
*Handling POA arrangements and set up
*Dealing with Transact to instruct sales (with the guidance of the planner) and transferring cash into and out of plans
*Pension Transfer establishment and dealing with external pension providers
*Arranging annuity details and drawdown set up
*Entering fees and adviser charges on AO and sending invoices to clients and providers
*Review pack preparation
*Attending client meetings Post review meeting calls to action to be organised and managed through activity manager Stationery ordering
*Handling post
*Refreshments and meet & greet
*Completion of agreed training path and exam schedule
*Attendance of training and seminars in and out of house
