- Do you like working away? Are you experienced in servicing and repairing machinery?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, I have a permanent vacancy for a Field Service Engineer available, for a large, reputable organisation who are part of a group of are 37 companies worldwide.
You will be responsible for the service and repair of plastic moulding machinery, in and around Milton Keynes/ Northampton. Ideally you will live locally, however, you will be required to stay away in hotels, which the company will pay for. As part of your renumeration package, you will be provided with a company vehicle and 5 weeks annual leave.
Responsibilities of the role:
*To service and repair plastic moulding machinery and equipment
*Commission machinery to approved standards
*Working within agreed timescales
*Fault finding and diagnostics
*Fault finding on ancillary equipment
*Configure machinery to client specification
*Provide support and instructions to customers regarding the machinery
*Complete all documentation accurately, i.e. Service reports, commissioning reports, personnel records and spare part returns
*Maintain the company's tools and equipment
Required qualifications/ experience:
*Experience maintaining microprocessor-controlled injection moulding machinery/ similar equipment
*A recognised qualification in electronics is essential
*Processing knowledge is desirable but not essential to the role
Annual salary: £25,000- £35,000.
