The company in question have been established since the early 1900's and are looking for someone to join them on temporary to permanent basis. Previous experience within a production environment would be advantageous. There are a few positions available, one is for the paint line where the shell/ outer body of the vehicle is prepped and sprayed and the other is on the assembly line, where all of the parts manufactured on site, including the vehicle shell are put together by following diagrams and using hand tools. Both of the roles can be quite physically demanding and due to the nature of the business and equipment used on site, the environment can reach temperatures of up to 40 degrees.
Key responsibilities and requirements:
*To ensure that manufacturing levels are maintained effectively and to a high standard
*Following diagrams to ensure that all parts coincide with the respective product being manufactured at that time
*Using drawings/ diagrams to manufacture products
*Working with hand tools
*High attention to detail
*Operating machinery
*Ideally, some experience in a production/ manufacturing environment would be advantageous but not essential
*Computer literate
Working days and hours are Monday to Thursday, 7am- 4:30pm and Fridays, 7am- 11am. You will get 2x 15-minute paid breaks and a 30-minute lunch.
25 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays.
