- Due to continued expansion within their engineering and construction business, our Buckingham based client are now seeking to provide an excellent opportunity as a trainee CAD technician to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful Buckingham based business as a trainee CAD Technician and build upon a career with CAD design.
This is an office-based position and will involve working within the Drawing Office. You will be preparing working and as-installed drawings, printings and issuing of drawings to customers. Additionally, logging and filing drawing documents, archiving drawings, creating weld schedules and activity schedules.
Duties will also include dealing with stock and assisting our project team on various duties, to include raising and posting stock requisitions, stock revaluations, maintaining stores levels, start up packs for installers, raising supplier orders, ordering/off hiring plant and organising material deliveries.
As a trainee CAD Technician, you will be working directly under the supervision of our experienced CAD Technician and full in-house training will be provided so that you can fulfil the role.
If you have any AutoCAD experience/training this will be a distinct advantage, however not essential to the role.
As a Trainee CAD Technician, it is essential that you are diligent, conscientious, reliable and possess a high level of detail/accuracy to tasks. As well as excellent communication skills to effectively communicate to clients and customers.
The salary offered is negotiable dependent on experience.
