The company in question have been established since the early 1900's and are looking for someone with MIG welding experience to join them on temporary to permanent basis. You will be employed by us for the first 12 weeks, before entering into a permanent contract with the company.
You will be responsible for MIG welding fabricated components, for small- scale agricultural equipment within a large manufacturing facility based just outside of Stadhampton. Due to the rural location of the company, it is important that you have access to your own transport as public transport is not an option.
There are many different departments within the manufacturing facility, as the majority of the parts are made on- site. This includes the smaller components, used for building the framework and fitted by the assembly tea. which they require a MIG Welder to work with. You will be working as part of a team, with other MIG welders, allocated to your own booth.
Working days and hours are Monday to Thursday, 7am- 4:30pm and Fridays, 7am- 11am. You will get 2x 15-minute paid breaks and a 30-minute lunch.
23 days holiday per annum for permanent members of staff, plus bank holidays.
Salary £20,180 (Approx.) Per annum
