- Due to exciting and continued expansion within their business our client based in Central London are seeking to recruit a Technical Consultant into their team. The company is a market leading specialist within information management solutions.
The role focuses on software implementation and data migration in the existing projects team. You will need experience with T-SQL and XML Experience of data migration and meeting project objectives. Sound analytical/problem solving skills Microsoft SQL Server and Integration Services Degree (2:1 or above) in a computing or scientific discipline or which has involved use of computing methods
You will be working for a market leading software implementation company - NOT hardware. It is essential that you have experience of software implementation and meeting project objectives. You must have the ability to work independently, able to occasionally travel around the UK, Europe and the rest of the world, as the work may require client site visits. Additionally, you should have experience of Document and Records management principles.
You will be tasked with delivering solutions to clients for their Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS). The solutions will range from implementing document and/or records management applications from market-leading vendors, such as iManage or Micro Focus, through to upgrading existing systems and document migrations into the applications. Your role will be to undertake both the technical and functional activities required to delivering such solutions, ultimately designing and implementing solutions that meet our clients' information governance requirements.
We're looking for you to be a dynamic individual who possesses great people and problem- solving skills and is eager to learn quickly under the guidance of the Technical Director.
This client is a reseller and implementer of market-leading information management software solutions. Increasingly their implementation services evolve into end-to-end "Solution Support" contracts whereby they host, administer and support solutions on behalf of their customers.

Salary and Package:
*£35,000 to £45,000 per annum

The client will also work with you to understand your long-term career aspirations to ensure you have the development and growth opportunities needed to achieve these.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
*Delivery of professional services to clients
*Understand client work practices, gather client requirements and provide solution expertise through all project stages
*Create project deliverables such as technical/functional requirement specifications, presentations, build/deployment guides
*Build and deploy solutions in line with requirement specifications
*Deliver implementation projects in line with internal methodologies and vendor guidelines
*Perform source system data analysis to manage source to target data mapping
*Perform data migration and testing of both static and transaction data from source to target systems
*Deliver knowledge transfer sessions internally/externally
*Develop service templates for delivery of solutions to industry segments and to help enable business development
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify ways to innovate and improve delivery and processes
*Actively contribute to a culture that achieves the business goals and pleases clients which is at the heart of everything we do
Qualifications:
* Degree (2:1 or above) in a computing or scientific discipline which has involved use of computing methods, or a related field with hands on experience in a client-facing technical position
Essential:
*Experience in a software consultancy or implementation role
*An advanced understanding of information governance / ECM technologies, particularly iManage Work, iManage Records Manager, Micro Focus Content Manager, and a working knowledge of general IT infrastructure
*Experience with databases, T-SQL and XML - ideally you will have proven data migration experience
*Sound analytical/problem solving skills
*Able to communicate technical information effectively to a non-technical audience and vice versa
*Able to work independently and as part of a team
*Able to effectively juggle multiple engagements with competing priorities
*Exhibit well-developed problem solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to
*think creatively in a fast-paced environment
*Able to travel around the UK, Europe and the rest of the World, as the work may require client site visits
Desirable:
*Knowledge and practical experience of the following technologies:
*Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
*Microsoft Azure
*Microsoft Office 365
*Microsoft SQL Server and Integration Services
*Application integration and/or development using SQL / .Net / APIs
*Experience of other ECM platforms (OpenText, IBM, etc.)
