- Do you have experience within the automotive industry as an Electronic Technician/ Engineer?
Would you be interested in becoming an EMC Test Engineer?
If so, I am working with a company who will soon be facing a site expansion, thus looking to increase their workforce. The growth of the site will lead to more progression opportunities, making this an excellent time for a driven, experienced Technician to join the company and establish a career.
Responsibilities of the role:
*Assist with the set-up and testing of prototype products
*Carry out fault finding/ testing procedures
*Producing product testing reports
*Keeping records of high-quality experimental work carried out, in accordance with industry and company standards
*Follow internal test procedures and specifications
*Use and create detailed procedures, as required by approval bodies for the certification process.
*Liaison with internal Engineers, to understand and resolve any issues that may arise during the testing process.
*Support the sales team when required, with queries relating to product testing and approvals
Essential criteria for the role:
*Entry level GCSE in English and Maths, Minimum Grade: B
*A Level / HNC in Electronics / Engineering / Maths (Advantageous)
*Knowledge of electrical and / or electronic systems
*Well organised with a practical approach towards work
*Good attention to detail
*The ability to work autonomously
*Awareness of international standards and the approvals process (Advantageous)
*Knowledge of Vehicles (cars, motorbikes, tractors) an advantage.
*Having attended recognised courses in relevant fields such as EMC would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
*UK car driving licence
*Current passport
Annual Salary: £20,000- £25,000 dependant on experience
Working days/ hours: 37.5 hours per week. Shifts range from 6am - 1pm/ 1pm - 9pm.
