- A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Operations Director to join our client who is a unique and super cool business on their epic journey and to help take the brand to the next level.
You will be joining a well-established business that has achieved unparalleled growth in its field due to breaking convention, innovation and setting trends. The company offers international installation, service and sales of sports and fitness equipment to more from the Shetland Isles to the South Coast.
It is essential that you:
*Can demonstrated proven experience of within a similar position
*Have experience of working with field engineers and office staff
*Are skilled at operational performance tracking & revenue performance tracking
*Are competent with specifying, selecting, configuring and arranging training on new IT systems
Accountability and Responsibilities
*Delivering the inspection plan with the minimum possible financial loss by maximising the efficiency of the engineer journey planning.
*Delivering the repairs revenue with the maximum possible financial profit by maximising the efficiency of the engineer journey planning.
*Making improvements to the service and repairs process, systems, people and facilities
*To suggest new pricing or other service and repair innovation to help the company out-perform their competitors.
*To minimise the customer complaints created by mis-delivery of service or process errors
*Ensuring employee attrition is reduced to 15% per annum
*Setting appropriate measures and KPIs within the department that track the detailed performance so that you can see in advance if the company are failing to perform to our business targets and budgets.
*Formulating recommendations and inputting into any process improvements that you feel will enhance the business profitability.
*Tender and win profitable contracts
*Support the growth of the installations as a complementary revenue stream
*To set appropriate KPIs and targets for the team that are aligned with the company business plan
*To personally lead, scope and define improvement projects related to people, process and technology to increase efficiency, accuracy and customer service standards
*To control the day to day running of the Company's Service Departments
Key Skills
*Skilled at identifying improvements in the efficient delivery of a national provision of inspections and repairs
*Skilled at working to and setting targets to manage the workload with the minimum drive time possible between locations
*Skilled at operational performance tracking, revenue performance tracking continually show improvements throughout the departments in all areas.
*Skilled at handling meetings with County Councils and Management Companies at officer level as well as dealing directly with customers
*Experience of working with field engineers and office staff and have excellent people skills.
