Description
Due to continued expansion and growth within their organisation, our well-established family firm are seeking to recruit a new Quality Coordinator into their team, located in Reading.

You will be joining a company that operates within the manufacturing, engineering and construction sector. As such, it would be a distinct advantage if you have previous/current experience within this marketplace.

The salary for this full-time role is between £25,000 and £30,000 (plus benefits) negotiable dependent upon experience, working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm from the Reading office - this role does include some travel as required to perform the responsibilities within the position.

As a Quality Coordinator you will manage the coordination of the supplier and product quality function within the business in
support of the Supplier Quality Engineer. To assist with minimising quality issues across the product range with the authority to accept or reject product from suppliers on behalf of the company.

Main duties and responsibilities:
*Assist and support the Supplier Quality Engineer With the effective day to day management of supply chain and product quality.
*Coordinate the logging and resolution of NCR's, to ensure KPI's are meet
*Assist with CAR/Root cause Analysis
*Assist and coordinate with internal audits across the business
*Coordinate the communication of technical files and specifications.
*Coordinate the recording of site-based reworks and product to be ordered.
*Standard and additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Skills:

*Working knowledge of ISO 9001, (with awareness of BSEN1090, ISO 14001, ISO
*45001)
*Understanding on how to carry out investigations, root cause analysis and
*auditing.
*Demonstrated experience in statistical data
*Experience of working within a Goal and KPI lead team
*Competent in all aspects of office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)
*Organised and have a keen eye for detail.
*Must be able to work with limited supervision and under their own initiative.
*Experienced communicator; one-to-one, meetings and group presentations
*Willingness to undertake some travel

You will be a logical, methodical planner, understand the vital nature of rules and determined to get things completed correctly and on time. You will have good attention to detail and an ability to work conscientiously without supervision. Self-disciplined and self-improvement, you have standards, prefer things neat, tidy and organised.
