Due to continue growth within their organisation, my client is now seeking to recruit a PHP Lower Back End Developer to join their team.

It is essential that you have PHP knowledge and experience (within any sector/industry) and also have great client facing experience as this role will be client facing.

The salary for this position is £30,000 to £32,000 per annum and you will be working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

The role is located in Manchester city centre and working with a small team framework. You will be supporting the Lead Developer and dealing with customers on a face to face basis so you need to have experience of this and be comfortable in this capacity.

You will be a self-starter that works well alone and as part of a team collaboratively

Responsibilities:
*Write well designed and efficient backend code using the Laravel PHP Framework.
*Integrate with websites / user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS/Javascript practices.
*Integrate, store and display data from various back-end RESTful APIs and databases.
*Create new, and maintain existing software systems using Laravel and Vue.js
*Cooperate with other developers and designers on projects to match visual and technical specifications.
*When necessary liaise with clients and app users for technical support.
*Keep up to date with the latest Laravel releases and security patches to ensure full system operation and security.
Requirements:
*Proven working experience in web programming using Laravel or other MVC framework.
*Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development.
*Experience integrating with third party RESTful APIs.
*Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
*Willingness to learn new skills and technology stacks. For example: React Native, SwiftUI, Java, Vue JS

Desirable (but not essential):
*Experience using front-end technologies, HTML/CSS/Javascript/Vue.js
*Knowledge and/or experience in the following:
- Linux Server Administration
- AWS Console
- React Native
- Wordpress
