- Description
- Due to continued growth, my Bicester based client are looking to recruit two enthusiastic and motivated individuals, to work as part of a team of two, on an automated powder coating line. Previous experience working within a powder coating environment is preferred, but not essential as full training will be given.
An individual with a strong background in production/ working with machinery would be ideal for this position.
There are two shifts available: 06:00- 14:00 or 14:00- 22:00, Monday to Friday. The company require an individual for each of the shifts.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*Loading/unloading parts onto and from the line
*Loading jigs
*Masking parts
*Checking the quality of parts
*Occasional manual touch-ups
*Ensure health & safety procedures are adhered to
*Work to tight deadlines and meeting company production targets
Skills and Experience Required:
*Ideally you will have previous experience working within a powder coating environment, but this is not essential
*Hard working, reliable, self-motivated
*Positive attitude
*Available for overtime if required
*The ability to work using your own initiative
*Good communication skills
*Excellent attention to detail
You will be employed by Equation Recruitment for the first 3 months, before becoming a permanent member of staff with the company itself.
Hourly rate: £9.10 per hour to £10.20 per hour, depending on experience
Company benefits:
* £30 shift allowance per week for the late shift
* Overtime available (Saturdays paid at time and a half and Sundays paid at double time)
* Company pension contribution of 4%
* 20 Days paid holiday rising to 23 on service - plus bank holidays
* One extra day's holiday each year to use on or around your birthday
* Sick pay policy higher than Statutory Sick Pay
