- My client are based in Croughton, Brackley, and are looking to recruit a new Technician to join their small, family like team on a permanent basis!
I am searching for an individual who has experience in plumbing/ pipe fitting and some mechanical knowledge would also be an advantage. There are two sides to the business. However, the majority of your role will be to visit customers properties to carry out repairs, servicing pipework, installations and the removal of the existing equipment.
You will be trained up to a 600A accreditation, and also be offered more training as the business grows and evolves into the air source sector.
Normal working hours are 8:00-18:00, overtime if required. some weekends if available. 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
The company also have a 24/7 call out service which they offer roadside assistance for. The person that looks after this takes 1-2 weeks holiday each month, meaning they will require someone to cover them during this period. Commission is paid to the Technician for every call out and they can vary between 4 per day to nothing for 2 days straight. It is hard to pinpoint. However, if you apply, you must be aware of this and be willing to be on call for a short time.
It is important that you are fairly local, as you will be expected to travel up to 1.5 hours from Croughton to attend call outs.
Full training will be given, but If you have any experience of petrol/ diesel engines then this will be an advantage to you and the business.

Salary: £25,000 + Commission (Your basic salary will increase over time as you become trained/ qualified).
