- Do you have experience in any type of assembly, either mechanical, electrical or both?
I am looking to recruit a Technical Assembly Operative to join my Bicester based client's team on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for the assembly of various parts and entire products, which are classed as medical devices. You must be able to follow instructions such as blueprints, templates/ technical drawings and have hands on experience sited to the role. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities of the role
*Gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
*Following strict build instructions to assemble medical devices
*Examining connections for the correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
*Verify specifications by taking measurements.
*Complete preventive maintenance tasks
*Following manufacturer's instructions
*Troubleshooting malfunctions and fault finding/ calling for repairs
*Completion of production and quality forms
*Working towards build targets as a team.
*Participate in all internal training which may be relevant to the job role.
Experience using Microsoft office programmes (Excel/Word) would be an advantage.
Basic maths and IT skills are required.
Working days/ hours:
37.5 hours per week, 09:00- 17:30 Monday to Friday
Two 15-minute breaks and a 30 minutes lunch (Overtime available)
Salary £19,000- £20,000 per annum dependant on experience.
