- Our well-established client on the outskirts of Bicester has a new opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join their team.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Responsibilities
*Prepare and process supplier payments
*Post invoices and credit notes as required
*Analyse expenses
*Perform bank, VAT, and other reconciliations
*Credit control
*Process monthly accruals, prepayments, and journals
*Produce monthly stock valuations
*Carry out month-end, year-end
*Assist with audits and preparing budgets
*Prepare accounts to trial balance
*Maintain fixed assets register
*Maintain nominal ledger
*Prepare monthly reports for the management team
*Input to R&D tax credit submissions
*Managing insurance policies
What You'll Need
*AAT Level 4 Qualified or near completion
*Must have experience in accounting related roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment, and understand accounting for stock.
*Proficient with an accounting software package (Sage Accounts preferable).
*Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft packages
*Driving licence and car due to village location
