Job Description
Equation Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Purchase Ledger Clerk working across both sides of the ledger and administrative finance duties and that is happy working in this transactional focused finance role.
The successful candidate will demonstrate all the skills, experience and attributes required in an SME environment with a proven track record.
Excellent attention to detail, proactive and methodical approach to tasks.
Demonstrates the ability to meet deadlines, determine priorities and organise work to meet objectives and identify and deal with problems with the minimum of supervision, with a desire to progress.
Liaising with internal departments, and external parties in ensuring that the operational performance is not affected by non-processing of invoice and late payments.
There will be a requirement to work closely with your peers, supporting each other to provide accurate and timely information to the Financial Accountant and Group Finance Manager as required, and provide cover for each other when required.
Key Responsibilities
The post holder shall be working within the Accounts team and as such require the following experience:
High volume processing of Accounts Payable.
Supplier payment allocations.
Other ad hoc Finance duties payment runs.
Key Skills / Experience
Working knowledge of Sage 50
Good MS office skills in particular Excel, Word, and Outlook
Good command of the English language both verbal and written
