Hotel Receptionist

Salary: £21,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Working Hours: Rotating shifts (7:00am-3:00pm or 3:00pm-11:00pm)

Location: Oxford

Are you looking for your next opportunity in hospitality? Equation Recruitment are currently looking for receptionists on behalf of our client based in Oxford. They are a luxury hotel with a rich history in the city. They are a family run business and try to maintain that atmosphere amongst the guests and staff alike.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests and checking details against bookings.
  • Allocating guests their rooms and providing keys.
  • Answering calls from prospective guests and customers, taking messages, and delivering them.
  • Completing administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying.
  • Responding to requests for help and information.
  • Providing concierge services.
  • Preparing room bills and ensuring prompt payments.
  • Checking guests out.

What you need:

  • Customer service skills.
  • IT Literacy.
  • Administration experience.
  • Polite manner and good communication skills.
  • Great telephone manner.
  • The ability to be calm and work well under pressure.
