HR and Office Coordinator
Salary: £23,000 per annum DOE
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Location: Outskirts of Bicester
Are you an experienced administrator looking for the next step in your career? Equation Recruitment have the opportunity for you. We are currently looking for someone who can be the perfect asset in our client's brilliant and successful team. Main Responsibilities:
- Managing the recruitment inbox, responding to all applications and agencies.
- Maintain the preferred supplier list (PSL), respond to new agencies by completing terms of business and obtaining contact details.
- Keep the applicant tracker up to date and manage communications, such as candidate feedback, with hiring managers.
- Draw up letters/contracts for HR signature.
- Arrange first day induction programme and conduct the first day HR induction.
- Work with hiring managers to ensure probationary meetings are scheduled.
- Assist the HR team to keep HR systems up to date with training, notice periods and other relevant information.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating health and safety logs.
- Support H&S manager to coordinate fire evacuations, ensuring staff lists and visitor books are up to date.
- Support the Health and Safety Manager with legal responsibilities such as routine checking of fire alarms, first aid boxes etc. Highlight issues, as necessary.
- Book health and safety training and agreed budget approval limits and ensure invoices are paid promptly.
- Produce monthly accident reporting metrics for the HR manager.
Requirements:
- The ability to treat confidential information in an appropriate manner and maintain employee privacy in all matters relating to personal information.
- Good time management.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively, with people inside and outside of the department.
- Driven to always produce high quality results.
- Can confidently check own work and follow instructions carefully.
- Previous experience within administration or a similar role.
- Customer service skills.
- Knowledge of recruitment and/or HR is desirable.
- Understanding of Health and Safety procedures in the workplace.
- Confident with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
