Working days/hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00- 16:30.

Salary: £21,000- £23,000 per annum. (Negotiable dependant on experience).

Specialist engineering company based in Bicester, seek an individual who is technically minded, with good attention to detail.

Full training will be given. However, you will ideally have some experience operating machinery and hand tools within a workshop or production environment. If you have a strong background as a Production Operative/Machinery Operative, please apply.

You will be responsible for "finishing" components, which is a crucial part of the process. Excellent attention to detail is required. Each component will be returned to the customer after being quality checked.

Responsibilities of the role.

• Use of hand tools and machinery, i.e., Manual lathes, Jigs, and technical measuring instruments
• Reading technical drawings, to ensure that the components match the requirements
• Cleaning, Polishing/ finishing components
• Working as part of a team of two, ensuring that components are completed to a high standard
• Liaising with other departments/ teams if any issues arise
• Keeping record of components once the finishing process is complete
• Releasing components to the quality control department
