Facilities Operative required on a full-time, permanent basis for a company based in Ardley, just outside of Bicester.
£25,000 per annum (Overtime opportunities will be available).
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 07:30- 16:30 (Start times and finish times may vary).

Training can be provided for confined spaces, mobile plant, CCNSG and high-pressure water jetting equipment.
Important information to read before applying.- It is essential that you have access to your own transport to get to the site.
- Employment is subject to an alcohol and narcotics test. You will be asked to provide a urine sample under supervision during the induction. If you engage in recreational drug use, please do not apply.
- Although the role does not involve much heavy lifting, you must be physically fit and agile, due to the number of stairs and different levels that need to be attended to.
Facilities Operative responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team of two Facilities Operatives, performing site clearances and spill response tasks
- Lifting and moving flexible hoses/ pipes, negotiating stairs, slopes and uneven surfaces
- Removing refuse, landfill/ groundwork
- Operating mobile plant & high-pressure water jetting equipment
- Working in confined spaces (Full training given)
- Sweeping and shovelling using brushes, washing down, litter picking, some jet wash
- Use of various hand tools to include shovels, pick axes, pneumatic tools, wheel barrows, hammers etc. to break up and move materials
- Greasing mechanical systems, using small hand tools etc to put up signage, stocking up eye wash stations etc
- Manually carrying, lifting or dragging flexible pipes to and from the work site. This may include negotiating stairs, slopes and uneven surfaces.
If you currently hold a CSCS card or a CCNSG safety passport, this can be an advantage, but it is not essential.
