Master Production Scheduler

Location: Bicester

Salary: £35,000- £38,000 per annum (Dependant on experience)

Working hours: 08:00 to 17:00 5 days a week with a 1-hour lunch break.

Privately owned business located in Bicester are looking for an experienced Production Planner to join their close knit, family orientated team on a permanent basis.

The Production Planner will be responsible for the schedule of work carried out across multiple lines, running over 2 shifts per day.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling works into the capacity plan
• Creating work orders
• Delivery of daily/weekly production schedules for each of the production lines
• Ensuring the correct amount of materials are available to meet the production schedule
• Contacting clients to keep them up to date with status of their order
• Participate in weekly meetings
• Plan and oversee site collections
• Working alongside the administration team to ensure there are delivery labels for site collections
• Liaising with team Leaders to ensure that the product amount matches the sales orders
• Managing planning sheets on Excel
• Suggesting improvements regarding new software / planning methods

Essential criteria

• Must have previous experience as a Production Planner/ Production Scheduler, preferably within industrial manufacturing/ engineering.
• Proficient in Excel
• Excellent IT literacy
