Part Qualified Accountant

Part Qualified Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 per annum

Working Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

Location: Bicester

Equation Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and caring accountancy practice consisting of a team who are passionate about helping and advising entrepreneurs and small business owners. With a growing practice, this means they have a vacancy for a Trainee Accountant looking to progress their career.

This position is suitable for someone who is currently studying and looking for a practice to support them as they finalise their qualification.

Part Qualified Accountant Responsibilities:

* Assisting colleagues with the preparation of statutory accounts for clients ranging from sole traders and partnerships to limited companies.

* Helping with client meetings to discuss their business needs and how you would be able to support them.

* Assisting clients with various taxation queries.

* Be required to add value to basic services, such as management accounts, taxation, business advice, payroll, bookkeeping and company formations.

Required Skillset for a Part Qualified Accountant:

* Excellent people and project management skills, with a passion for helping your clients grow.

* Unafraid to get stuck in to solve problems when they arise.

* Some working knowledge on accounting software's, which ideally will include TaxCalc, Xero, Sage and QuickBooks, amongst others is desirable.

* High people management, organisational and communication skills.

* Hands-on problem-solver with a passion to help others.

* Experience in producing statutory accounts, as well as having some tax knowledge
