Parts Administrator
Parts Administrator Salary: £23,000 per annum
Parts Administrator Working Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Bicester
Equation Recruitment are looking for a Parts Administrator, for our well-established client in the Bicester area. If you are experienced in Administration and are looking for your next opportunity, this is the role for you.
You will be receiving and processing sale orders online, via phone and email from our client's network of dealers and sales representatives. You will also be assisting customers by offering them relevant product information and solving invoice queries.
Main Responsibilities of a Parts Administrator:
- Assist with pricing enquiries from Dealers, end users and Sales Reps
- Process customer orders on the computer system with a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain and update all records.
- Understand our client's delivery policy and procedures in accordance with the relevant departments.
- Understand and learn the policies and procedures in relation to certain departments.
- Liaise with Customers on delivery and availability of stock.
- To communicate clearly with internal and external personnel and be pro-active and reactive to all telephone calls made.
- Carry out and be responsible for all filing associated with the role and to assist with filing and archiving of other department records.
- To provide cover for other staff members in your department during periods of absence (i.e. assist with picking/packing parts if needed).
- Assist with picking, packing, and dispatching of parts to our network of dealers.
- Help with deliveries and booking goods in.
- Actively help with departments stock take (counting/reporting).
What you need to become a Parts Administrator:
- Previous experience in sales admin, or a similar role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment.
- Drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift some heavy items (all checked by H&S first).
- Oracle skills preferred.
- Forklift License (Reach truck) - not essential
