The Role of the Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind growth, forging strong partnerships and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service every time. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key accounts and shape the future of sustainable packaging.

What You’ll Be Doing as the Business Development Manager:

  • Proactively manage accounts to exceed annual sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong customer-first relationships
  • Lead with confidence when engaging with stakeholders
  • Stay ahead of the game with a deep understanding of the packaging market
  • Juggle deadlines, priorities, and projects, and deliver with excellence
  • Communicate effectively across teams and with customers, showing leadership and professionalism
  • Continuously raise service standards through a proactive, solutions-focused approach

Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development
Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen
Track record of delivering results with a ‘can-do’ attitude
Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
Confidence with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Understanding of the full product lifecycle – from concept to production
Industry experience in packaging, paper, or corrugated (preferred but not essential)
