- Our Oxfordshire based client who specialise in bespoke windows and doors are looking to employ a Head of Installations within their company.
The primary function of the role is to oversee the daily operations of the installation team so that they are prepared and equipped to meet the daily requirements of our customers to ensure we offer a first-class service.
Accountabilities/Typical Duties:
*To support the Operations Director as key contributor to the Matrix Management Meetings.
*To plan and organise the Installation function so that the team are clear on processes.
*To set team targets and show evidence that the Installation Teams meet and beat 'First Time Fit' expectations. To report on KPIS that meet business goals.
*To ensure the mobile Installations Team are communicated to / met daily on site prior, during and after installation by one of the management team.
*To meet weekly with the team to ensure installations are planned to capture any changes to the schedule required.
*To project manage the installations and ensure customers are communicated with regularly to ensure they are kept up to date of progress.
*To coach direct reports and encourage them to do the same and to review staff and processes through performance management.
*To follow and promote Company H & S policies whilst teams are on site.
*To manage the Installation Budget and report on variances.
*To ensure the Installation Van Fleet is operated legally whilst representing the brand.
*To liaise with the Surveying Team on pre-installation visits to ensure all areas of the project are covered and customers aware.
*To sign off with customers on job completion where required.
*To ensure all Installation Team members are compliant and have necessary qualifications to work.
Qualifications, knowledge and experience:
*Previous Team Management experience.
*A technical understanding having worked within a building or trade environment.
*Ability to communicate at all levels to understand the technical advances within the sector.
*Working to costs budgets and kpi structure to report against variances.
*Project management or planning experience desired.
*A minimum of five years' experience within the residential building and glazing sector is desired.
Skills and aptitude:
*Practiced analytical skills with strong attention to meeting budget numbers.
*Excellent communication skills with the focus on delivering the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
*Demonstrated skills as a successful communicator, collaborator and facilitator
*Organised method of working with strong report writing and record keeping skills.
*Good judgement, showing logical decision making, and a hands-on approach.
*Confident, a self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment.
*Customer orientation, integrity and the ability to lead through influence.
*Proven ability to partner with internal customers, partners and stakeholders in a manner that results in mutually positive outcomes and credibility.
