- Description
- We are recruiting a Commercial Analyst for our client based in Bicester on a permanent basis. You will be working in the Finance & IT department reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager.
Purpose of the role:
To provide high quality, clear and useful sales reporting and business insight to support the sales and management team and maintain our local sales reporting tools to enable this.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in the delivery of all regular and ad-hoc sales reporting as required - month-end, quarter-end etc, using all systems available to us, including the Group reporting system Board. Continually monitoring and ensuring accuracy and relevance
* Analyse and interpret actual performance vs. budget, prior year and forecast expectations.
* Maintenance of the master data in our sales reporting tool, Novaview and to ensure consistency of reporting between this and other sales reporting tools within the business, including the Group reporting tool, Board.
* Maintenance of the master data in our forecasting system, Prophecy, to ensure system availability and a structure that is relevant to the business.
* Weekly production of the All Network reports and maintenance of Sales Out data.
* Support system development by testing and training as required.
* Pro-actively propose process improvements to ensure work remains value adding and in line with company strategies.
* Any other ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Commercial Finance Manager
Training and Development:
* To take part in management development programs as required.
* To take part in EPDP process with Line Manager
Person Specification:
