- 3-month contract available for a Maintenance Engineer based in Bicester, working for a local reputable company!
We are looking for someone with a background in Machine Maintenance within a production environment, to service the equipment and to make sure everything is maintained in a safe, legal and clean state. The prevention of down-time is paramount, meaning a pro-active, strategic outlook and work ethic is put into practice. You will be working within a food production environment; hygiene levels are extremely high and this must be considered at all times. You will also be responsible for Completion of pneumatic maintenance, for carrying out maintenance, store equipment and tools in such a way that they do not pose a risk to food or health safety. Carry out maintenance & store equipment & tools in such a way that they do not pose a risk to food or health and safety.
You must follow company procedures with regard to maintenance, control of visitors and contractors. Including glass, allergen controls and temporary repairs. You will be required to complete work required and keep maintenance records up to date, as well as action pest proofing recommendations and request Health & Safety data sheets / approved food use for any equipment/ chemicals used on site.
