- Various exciting opportunities available with an international company who have recently been taken over. They are experiencing huge growth and an influx in terms of projects. Due to this, they require Project Managers from Senior to intermediate and down to Junior level.
The company design and build data centre electrical, mechanical, architectural and data infrastructures for businesses. The Project Managers responsibility will be to refurbish or build a business's compute facility, ensuring that it is delivered to design specification, on time and on budget by managing and planning efficiently and evaluating implementation and controlling risk. This role also offers international travel to countries such as, Brazil, Slovakia and Australia to name a few.
*Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
*Identify resources and assign responsibilities
*Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project
*Competent in PRINCE 2 project methodology
*Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored
*Works closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project
*Understands basic revenue models and P/L; meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing a project budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions
*Works with design and installation teams to define and document questions, liaise with business via email, IM or phone to get new requirements and explain feasibility
*Submits project status reports to stakeholders; reviews progress; plans contingency actions; anticipates and reacts to change
Senior: 50-60k
Must have experience with JCT/ NEC3 Contracts, electrical installations. Could be working on three projects at one time. Responsible for tracking projects and attending weekly site meetings with clients and updating them on what's happening. Responsible for change and working with finance on billing schedules. Must have project management qualifications (PRINCE 2).
Intermediate: 35-40k
Experience with JCT/ NEC3 Contracts and electrical installation. Could also be working on 3 jobs at once. PRINCE 2 qualification is desirable.
Junior: 20-25k
All roles involve working alongside the Site Manager. This role will also involve visiting site and having a background in data centre consultancy, design and build. This would be an opportunity for an individual who is looking for that next step in their career.
The company are expecting large contracts to drop in the new year and are hoping to employ candidates around this time. This role does not offer an immediate start.
