- Description
- I am looking for an experienced Fabricator/ sheet metal worker, capable of manufacturing bespoke products for manufacturing companies, to order.
The company are based on the outskirts of Bicester, so you must be able to drive and have access to your own transport. You will be part of a small team, working from technical drawings and Auto CAD with the freedom and ability of using your own initiative, unsupervised.
Requirements of the role:
*To produce sheet steel fabrications and duct work from 0.8mm black mild steel, Zintec and galvanised sheet, including some light framework of angle channel and box section mild steel
*To use the following machinery;
- CNC plasma table
- NC controlled press brake
- Power guillotine
- Powered box and pan folders
- Pittsburgh Lock former
- Seam closer
- Jenny machines
- Sections bandsaw
- Metalwork lathe
- Spot, MIG & TIG welders
Factory working hours are 07.30-16.30 Monday - Thursday and 07.30 - 13.00 Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break (39.5 hours per week). Overtime will be available from Monday - Friday, paid at time and a half. You will also receive 28 days holiday per annum including bank holidays.
