- Description
- Manufacturer and distributor of electrical products based in Princes Risborough, seek a Warehouse Operative to join their workforce.
*Goods in procedures i.e. checking the quantity of goods against delivery sheets
*Labelling products
*Stock allocation
*Entering data onto the system to keep track of incoming stock
*Allocating stock to its correct place at the end of each day
*Off-loading vehicles upon arrival
*Confirming delivery notes
*Filing of delivery notes
*Picking orders
*Preparing orders ready for shipping
*Ensure damaged stock is placed in the quarantine area and all data is logged in the quarantine log book
*Assist Sales and Accounts with proof of deliveries
*Ensuring that the aisles and warehouse are kept clear and tidy
*Adhering to Health & Safety procedures i.e. pallets are fully wrapped before being placed on racking/ mezzanine floor
*Empty rubbish out of the cages located on the mezzanine floor
*To make sure the cardboard collection takes place each week. (Contact the recycling company every Monday regarding collection)
*Order cardboard boxes, tape, packaging, making sure that there is an adequate amount of stock each week
Originally, the role was only being offered on a temporary to permanent basis, however, the option of straight to perm is available.
Salary: £18,000+ Depending on experience.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am- 5:30pm.
