We are looking for a Facilities and Operations Manager to support the continued growth of a well-established department store in Newbury.
As a Facilities and Operations Manager, you will oversee the following areas of the business to optimise the stores operations:
*Recruitment and on boarding
*Inductions and store training
*Cash office and invoicing
*HR and Payroll
*Loss Prevention
*Facilities
*H&S audits
*Reduction of risk both from a asset protection and operational point of view
*Any other task required to ensure the store continues to function at the optimum level whilst enabling continued growth
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
*Previous experience overseeing facilities and operations with a Retail focus
*Experience in managing external/third party contracts
*A working understanding of Health and Safety
*An ability to identify and minimise risk areas
*A comprehensive understanding of retail procedures
*Knowledge of cash handling procedures
