- Description
- Due to exciting and continued expansion within their business, our premium homeware client is seeking to recruit a Management Accountant into their head office location.
As a management accountant you will form part of a small team, responsible for supporting the business with accurate and timely management accounts and financial reporting and analysis, whilst ensuring appropriate financial controls and governance are in place.
You will report into the Financial Reporting Manager and responsible for:
*Production of weekly sales reporting to the business
*Preparing monthly company management accounts and showroom/channel P&L's
*Preparing Investor reporting packs
*Margin and stock reporting
*Cost analysis
*Maintain the UK fixed asset register
*Complete balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
*Support preparation of annual audited accounts
*Support the Management Accounting Manager on special projects
*Deputising for the Management Accounting Manager when required
Key Skills and Experience
*Part-qualified/Finalist
*Experience of preparing management accounts for a mid/large business
*Attention to detail and willing to be hands-on
*Able to manage and deliver multiple tasks/priorities on time
*Confident communicating financial issues with non-finance teams
*Strong Excel skills
*Experience of preparing schedules for year-end audited accounts
