- Our client is one of the leading global providers of highly-integrated temporary and semi-permanent space solutions in the event and commercial sectors, and due to continued growth within their business are seeking to recruit a Commercial Sales Manager into their team covering the UK.
The business provides semi-permanent buildings, from production sales to turn-key rental. Space solutions are available for events, civil commercial use and military applications, and range from fully furnished turn-key accommodation to modular units, rapid deployment products, storage halls and party tents.
You will need a background in construction/temporary structure or modular together with experience of delivering "big ticket sales" in a commercial capacity. Ability to utilise a diverse supply chain in a time critical environment. Demonstrable experience of tender submissions. Good working relations with Contract/Project Management. Natural gravitas and affinity with the B2B sector. Able to develop high level networks and act professionally as an ambassador for the business. Recognise and rapidly develop opportunities in a controlled and profitable manner. Full understanding of basic financial reporting and budget management. Team player (internally), co-ordinator and facilitator with suppliers and strategic partners.
Main Responsibilities/Duties:
*Identify, develop and implement sector specific sales strategy in co-operation with members of the UK Board and in line with the UK Strategic Business Plan
*Meet and exceed agreed sales and margin targets
*Manage specified key accounts
*Develop sales plan
*Explore new opportunities in accordance with the sales plan
*Take final responsibility for projects, working with the project delivery team to ensure successful handover and financial close
*Weekly and monthly sales reporting
*Ensure that payment terms are adhered to
*Act as main contact for customer and site visits
*Prepare accurate pre-calculations in co-operation with Contract Manager and Sales Director
*Ensure that quotations are accurate and sent in a timely fashion, working in co-operation with the Contract Manager
*Ensure that contracts are being signed in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions
*Attend weekly sales meetings
*Identify market opportunities and threats
*Represent the Company at hospitality and other relevant occasions
As a Sales Manager you will be based at the Brackley headquarters, which is a modern and friendly environment. You will receive strong local support from team members and colleagues.
There will be a company car provided and on target earnings that can take your base upwards of £30-40k per annum.
