Description
Global specialists in project management are expanding their team of dedicated professionals.

This innovative market leader work across multiple sectors, such as technology, commercial, education and leisure. They are looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer, responsible for the coordination of small engineering project services for Mechanical or Electrical installations.


Responsibilities

*Researching and developing designs i.e. Systems, equipment, facilities etc.
*To develop and specify applications of controls, instruments and operating systems for all building engineering service purposes
*Carrying out survey tests and reports on existing electrical/mechanical installations
*Specifying activities, to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing confirm to functional specifications and customer requirements
*Responsible for representing the company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractor teams
*Preparation of specification and modifications using Microsoft Word or Excel
*Ensure that engineering calculations and drawings meet the required robust industry and legal standards
*Responsible for the validation of Intermediate & Graduate Engineer input into designs
*To always act in an Ethical manner and follow the principles of the Ethics Charter and Ethics in Practice Guidelines

Essential skills required for the role:

*HND or degree qualified or equivalent experience
*Working towards or have achieved MCIBSE/MIEE or equivalent
*Working towards Chartered Eng status
*Experience of specification design/drawing for at least one building type
*Sound knowledge of key Health and Safety issues and legislation
*Knowledge of MS Office apple excel etc
*Ability to use IT based calculation and spreadsheet software
*Managerial Skills

Salary: £34,000- £40,000 per annum
