Description
Our client within the construction sector is seeking a Project Administrator / Finance Assistant to join their head office in Reading.

Ideally starting before Monday 29th June, you will join our client on a maternity cover contract for a minimum of 9 months, with the possibility of a permanent contract thereafter.

Ultimately, we are looking for someone that has project administration and finance / credit control experience within the construction sector.

You will work closely with the commercial and sales team to understand construction projects and translate these activities into invoicing, other crucial parts of the role will include:

*Accurately record and issue applications
*Issue invoices in a timely manner
*Chasing payments of applications
*Provide reports on overdue debtors and future cash summaries
*Maintaining debtor records on Sage
*Efficiently collecting payments

The successful applicant will have:

*A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
*Experience working in the construction sector
*At least 1 years' experience using Sage
*Intermediate Excel skills
*The ability to understand technical / construction details
