- Due to continuous growth, expansion and development within their company, my client located on the outskirts of Bicester are now seeking to add a new Accounts Assistant/Finance Administrator into their growing finance team.
You will be joining a stable and expanding business that has continued to grow year on year since their inception and join a team of friendly and enthusiastic individuals.
The new role of Accounts Assistant/Finance Administrator is to work in a highly transactional based role that service several individual limited entities that form part of a small group of organisations.
It is essential that you have working experience of Sage 50, are intermediate to advanced within Excel, have experience of the outlined duties/responsibilities below and own/drive a car to get to work daily (no public transport).
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week and a salary between £23,000 and £25,000 per annum. Start and finish times are somewhat flexible to accommodate your situation if they align with the businesses core operating hours.
In this role you will be working on both sides of the ledger and have experience of both accounts payable/receivable, preparing information up to trial balance within an SME business environment.
Main duties and responsibilities:
*High volume processing of authorised Accounts Payable onto Sage and scheduling for payment.
*Support in the credit control of general sales ledger with the team
*Credit card processing
*Expenses for the executive team and site credit/debit card expenses
*Petty cash for head office
*Supplier payments
*Bank reconciliations
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Accruals and Prepayments
*Preparing accounts and all information up to trial balance
*General purchase ledger and accounts receivable queries
*Other ad hoc Finance admin duties
There will be a requirement to work closely with your peers, supporting each other to provide accurate and timely information to the Finance Manager and Group Finance Manager as required, and provide cover for each other when required. You will be working within a small and highly valued team.
