- Our Bicester based client is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their team.
Contract Type: 3 Month Fixed Term however, this could be extended or made permanent
Location: Remote working is available but you must be able to get to Bicester when required
Working Hours: 12pm-8pm and 2 in 4 Saturdays 7am-8pm

Main duties:
*Be first point of contact for home and business customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, by email or via the service desk tool.
*Provide in-hours and out of hours support for end users on Office productivity tools, telephony, and network
*Perform all New Starter set-ups including Hardware, Software, O365, D365, telephony
*Perform remote troubleshooting, and resolve technical and hardware and software issues
*Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
*Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
*Provide accurate information on IT products or services
*Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
*Administer service desk software
Requirements:
*Experience in a technical support role
*Knowledge of office automation products, databases, telephony systems and remote-control service tooling
*Diploma in IT or Computer science
Skills and Attributes:
*Windows 7/8/8.1/10
*Active Directory/Group Policy
*Windows Server 2008/2012
*Office 365/G-suite support
*Call Centre solutions - Splicecom and Ring Central
*Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
*Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
*Excellent communication skills
*Customer-oriented
