Salary: £9.00 - £11.00 p/h
Job Type: Permanent
Equation Recruitment are looking for a cook to work part time at our clients beautiful Banbury based care-home. They require somebody who has experience cooking in a commercial or professional environment. You must be able to prepare, cook and serve meals and deserts from scratch.
The working hours would be 9:00am - 2:00pm. There is a 2-week rotation that dictates working days.
Week 1: Two days out of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Week 2: Working both Saturday and Sunday
Ideally candidates will have a DBS (formally known as a CRB) check in place. This is essential as the role is based around vulnerable adults.
Role Responsibilities:
-Cooking and serving hot and cold food within budget.
-Baking afternoon cakes for the residents.
-Handing over and liaising with other kitchen staff to ensure consistent, clear communication.
-Ensuring all food is compliant with EHO hygiene regulations.
