Working Time: 52 weeks, 37.5 hours per week.
Salary: £31,346 - £33,782 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term until September 2022
Our client, who are a school based in the outskirts of Oxfordshire are looking to appoint a School Manager for maternity cover until September 2022.
The School Manager will be responsible for/manage the operation and delivery of day-to-day operations within the school; be responsible for/manage the planning, development and monitoring of support services.
Main Responsibilities:
*Effectively line-manage specific colleagues as identified in staffing structure.
*Determine the need for and arrange provision, analysis and evaluation of data and detailed reports/information.
*Be responsible for the design and effective operation of administrative procedures
*Be responsible for the submission of relevant information to the SLT, the Governing Body and outside agencies e.g. DfE, Oxfordshire County
*Work with the Office Manager to ensure effective communication to both parents and the school teams Council,
*Be responsible for ensuring systems and procedures comply with the General Data Protection Regulations.
*Identify the need for, select and manage resources, including management of resource budget
*Be responsible for the provision of specialist advice and guidance to SLT/Governing Body etc. on national and local guidelines/policy/statue etc.
*Interpret matters of policy/procedure/statute to ensure the school's compliance and initiate appropriate action arising
*Manage procurement and be responsible for securing relevant sponsorship
*Identify the need, and be responsible, for securing appropriate licenses and insurance
The post-holder will manage other administrative and support staff, including those responsible for leading the Catering, Site and Lunchtime Supervision Teams.
Experience Required:
*Worked as part of a school administrative team.
*Liaising with a range of individuals and organisations around areas of resource management, health and safety, catering, site management, school leadership, facilities management, procurement and financial management.
*Excellent communication, numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.
*Working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practise/legislation.
*Ability to relate well to children and adults.
*Ability to self-evaluate learning.
*Commitment to pastoral care of children.
