Cleaner required

Part time- 6 hours per day

£11.50- £12.50 per hour + Fuel expenses covered

Responsibilities:

• General clean downs of porta cabins used as break areas and communal spaces for site and office workers.
• Entering site twice a day between 08:00- 16:00.
• Cleaning of offices and welfare areas, inclusive of toilets and canteens used by contractors.
• Toilet pans need to be bleached and cleaned when necessary (Possibly weekly, not twice per day).
• Toilet floors to be mopped at least once a day, (twice if required).
• Office and canteen floors to be mopped and hoovered once/ twice per week.
• Emptying of dustbins when required.
• Replenishing toilet rolls when needed.
• Replenishing hand towel dispensers when required, (Storeroom located next to the canteen, fully stocked with chemicals, hand towels, bin bags, cloths etc).
• Replenishing hand soap and hand sanitisers when necessary.

The successful applicant will have to pass a clearance check to be able to work on site.

The site is located within the grounds of HMP Springhill. Please note that you will NOT come into contact with any detainees. You will be required to clean some welfare areas used by detainees, but they will not be present at the time.
