My client is a professional oil tank service provider for residential and commercial premises, offering services that include oil tank installations, cleaning, removals and disposal.
They are looking to employ a Heating Engineer Assistant with the ambition and drive to become a skilled and successful Heating Engineer over time.
All training/ qualifications will be provided by the company for the right individual.
Note that you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Full earning potential: £30,000- £35,000 per annum once qualified.

Working hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Required skills

• The ability to operate power tools.
• Hands on and unafraid to get stuck in
• Some building/ construction knowledge
• Basic engineering knowledge/ understanding of mechanical principles
• A keen willingness to learn and develop.
• Good attention to detail.
• The ability to use your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the main Engineer with all on site tasks
• Extracting fuel from tanks by pump (domestic and commercial)
• Removing oil tanks which includes cutting through plastic and metal
• Installing new oil tanks for domestic and commercial customers
• Building bases for storage tanks.
• Maintaining professional communication with customers.
• Efficiently addressing and resolving on-site issues.
