Heating Engineer
Experience in engineering preferred
Equation Recruitment are recruiting for a Northamptonshire based company that offers an extensive range of professional services related to oil tanks for both domestic and commercial customers. Their services encompass tank installations, removals, cleaning, and proper disposal.
As an OFTEC Heating Engineer, your role will involve travelling to customer sites to deliver the required services.
Salary:
£28,000 per annum
Primary requirements:
- You must effectively communicate with colleagues and customers, maintaining a consistently professional demeanour and exhibiting strong teamwork skills.
- A valid full driving license is mandatory.
- A flexible approach to work is essential to ensure timely job completion.
- Maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and organization of the service vehicle is crucial. Adherence to Health and Safety protocols is mandatory.
- Execution of work in accordance with company procedures is expected.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
- You should be capable of working independently and accomplishing tasks within specified time-frames.
Qualifications and Skills
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in operating power tools.
- Fundamental understanding of building and construction basics.

Key On-site Responsibilities:
- Pumping out fuel from customer tanks, whether domestic or commercial.
- Removing tanks, including cutting plastic and metal tanks for proper disposal.
- Installing new oil tanks for domestic and commercial clients.
- Constructing bases for storage tanks.
- Efficiently resolving on-site issues as they arise.

- 8 hour shift
