Equation Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an employer seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all commercial aspects across a variety of fit-out and construction projects. You'll work closely with project and operations teams to maximise profitability and ensure contracts run smoothly from start to finish.

Location: London (site-based, with some travel)
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £50,000-£70,000 + car allowance + benefits

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities
• Procuring and managing subcontractors and materials
• Monitoring project progress and financial performance
• Managing variations and resolving contractual issues
• Producing cost reports, valuations, and final accounts
• Collaborating with clients, consultants, and site teams

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or interior fit-out
• Strong understanding of JCT contracts
• Excellent MS Excel and Office skills
• A commercial mindset with sharp negotiation and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable but not essential:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Experience in bid writing and e-tendering
