Equation Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an employer for a Plant and Maintenance Engineer to join a growing manufacturer in Bicester. This is your opportunity to work with cutting-edge manufacturing equipment, contribute to exciting engineering projects, and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to pharmaceutical and life science clients.
About the Role:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on manufacturing equipment and site facilities
- Support engineering projects, from procurement to installation of new process equipment
- Calibrate company equipment and support customer calibration services, including occasional UK and European travel
- Work within a small, collaborative team and step in for the Engineering Manager when required
- Liaise with customers on repairs, calibrations, and equipment orders
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified multi-skilled electrical/mechanical engineer (BTEC ONC, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship, or degree)
- Hands-on experience with servicing, repairs, facilities maintenance, and system checks (pneumatics, RO, HVAC)
- Strong communication skills, organised, adaptable, and proactive
- Ability to use computer systems, ERP software, and maintenance tools
- Clean driving licence
Desirable:
- Process engineering experience
- Experience using lathes and milling machines
