Key Responsibilities for the Commercial Property Paralegal or Solicitor
- Assisting fee earners with agricultural and commercial property matters, including transactions and renewable energy schemes.
- Conducting legal research and drafting a variety of legal documents including contracts, transfers, and lease agreements.
- Preparing Land Registry applications and managing all post-completion formalities.
- Carrying out property searches, analysing results, and preparing reports to support fee earners and clients.
- Managing professional and timely client correspondence.
- Organising and maintaining accurate client files and records.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards.
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team.
Requirements for the Commercial Property Paralegal or Solicitor
- Previous experience in a similar property paralegal role is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of commercial and/or agricultural property law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using case management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- A proactive approach with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
